Doug Biggert was born in the Midwest in the 40’s.
In the 7O’s, he met Cartier-Bresson in New York. This inspired him to take pictures of the hitchhikers he picked up in his old Volkswagen Bug .

The year was 1973. In all he has taken 150 pictures. A series of different people , from travelers from the other side of the world to ordinary folk asking for a short ride.
