A congress entitled « Creative expressions of a society in conflict » was held in Brussels ( after the « First International Congress on Religion, Architecture ans Art » N.Y.C, 1967 ) between 7 and 12 September 1970 .
More than 600 people representing 30 nations were present in the « Quartier des Marolles » situated in the heart of the city.


Artistic, political, and psychological expressions were all intermingled.
The text and pictures in this book are documentary and appear without any interpretation.
François Houtart, Lucien Kroll, Luc Schuiten et Mass Moving constituent la cellule organisatrice de base.
Parmi les participants au Congrès, on trouve des Provos, Kabouters, Anarchistes, Maoïstes, Situationnistes, Chrétiens progressistes etc…
