In Merced River , Stephen Shore presents 10 photographs made in seemingly disparate locations, ranging from mountains to forests to beaches. The key to this selection of images can be found in the original print at the back of the book : all 10 photographs are part of one whole, a landscape photograph made by Shore at the Yosemite National Park in 1979.

Hardcover paper covered boards without dust jacket as issued.

16 p. with 10 four-color plates ( + the original print ).

Condition: new, still in publisher’s original plastic bag but the spine is slightly discolored by the sun.
