Hardcover, fine green cloth over boards with blind title stamped on front cover and spine under photographically illustrated dust jacket.
96 pages with 84 full page color plates.

12 years after the publication of his first « Landscape » book ( also by Nazraeli ) Shibata has moved to large-format color photographs, maintening as his subject the anti-erosion engineering structures so prevalent in the mountains inland region of Japan.
